Tragedy Strikes Chardon, Ohio

My heart and prayers go out to the victims of the Chardon High School shooting, which occcurred this morning in Chardon, Ohio, especially, the Family of the child who has passed on to be with our Lord.

I can't help, but to wonder what the shooter was thinking or more properly stated..."NOT THINKING" at the time! He evidentally, had problems stemming from a mental illness and I can only wish, he had read this Blog at some point and possibly, this would never had happened.

Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?

To grow spiritually is to look inward.

Introspection goes beyond recalling the things that happened in a day, week, or month...

So, What Do You Want To Be?

Will Edwards Do you remember the popular TV program called The Wonder Years that featured the 'growing-up' years of the main character - Kevin Arnold?
In one episode, Kevin - played by Fred Savage - went to work with his father, Jack (Dan Lauria), to see what his dad actually did to earn a living. He sat in his father's office in the big swivel chair and contemplated what it would be like to become a top executive at Norcom; observing, as he did so, the difference in his father's attitude when dealing with both his boss and his subordinates.
It was a very enlightening experience especially when Kevin asked his father the question;
